In 2018, Bassist Ian Thompson was stranded in San Ignacio, a town in western Belize, on the banks of the Macal River. Stuck in a hammock for 4 days with lots of down time, this tune arrived.

Mode: Normal is a short form concert film that takes you through a dimension of colors in a jazz-noir setting using live video feedback effects. An experimental synthesis of jazz and celestial, psychedelic influences featuring space-jazz band Normal Mode. This film was created by William Mosqueda, and was awarded the following:
